Men - It’s Breakfast
Time!
This Saturday, April
26th is the date set for our next Men’s Breakfast. Come hungry for food,
fellowship, and the Lord! Meeting in the "House" at 9 am. |
New Lifers’ Picnic:
Monday, April 28th
will be the date for New Lifers’ first “field
trip.” The destination
is Leu Gardens and it will be a picnic. Admission is free. Those taking part
should meet at the church at 9:45 am, and bring a bag lunch (drinks, chips,
and dessert will be provided). Please sign up at the table in the foyer to
come. |

Specially Called
Business Meeting:
There will be a
specially called business meeting on Wednesday, April 30th at 7 pm to discuss
the NCA “Extreme Makeover.” |
National Day of
Prayer:
The 57th Annual
National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 1, 2008. The theme for
this year is "Prayer! America's Strength and Shield" and is based on the verse
from Psalm 28:7 which states: "The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart
trusts in Him and I am helped." Shirley Dobson says: “It is tremendously
heartening to know that you are standing with us as we call this great nation
to prayer.
Thank you for devoting
yourself to this cause and please know that we are remembering you before
God's throne as we work together to spark a nationwide revival of prayer and
repentance.”
